Winter is Coming!: 5 Running Workouts to Enjoy Before Running Season is Over
Days are getting shorter, darker, and colder. And unless you like running in the dark and cold (I don’t… but I also look for excuses not to run!) these next few weeks might be your last chance to get a running workout in!
The following workouts include running, from short sprints to long runs! Grab a friend, get some fresh air, and get a sweat on! 😊
WORKOUT #1:
EMOM 15
- Minute 1: Run (moderately hard pace; i.e. you can’t hold a conversation, but you aren’t dying either)
- Minute 2: 20 Air Squats
- Minute 3: 20 Banded Donkey Kicks
WORKOUT #2:
E5MOM for 25 min.
- 200 m Sprint
- 3 HEAVY Squat Cleans
WORKOUT #3:
4 rounds:
- 400 M at Regular Pace
- 400 M Backwards
- 200 M Spring
- Rest 5 min
WORKOUT #4:
3 Rounds **increase weight on bars each time**
- 20 EZ Curl Bicep Curls
- 20 Tricep Extensions with Tricep Bar
- 20 Hex Bar Deadlifts
- 800 M Run
WORKOUT #5:
AMRAP 30
- 400 M
- 25 Box Jumps
- 25 Mountain Climbers
- 25 Push Ups
