At Synergee Fitness, we realize that we wouldn’t have a business without our clients.  So we strive to make customer service our number one priority.  Our goal is to provide such an unbelievable experience for our clients that they brag about us to everyone they know. Here’s how we accomplish this task:

  • We only hire the best Personal Trainers, Group Fitness Instructors, Fitness Professionals, Customer Service Reps and Administrative staff who grasp the importance of customer service.
  • Our business model focuses on always remembering that the Client is the Boss.
  • We will all learn your name and always meet you with a warm greeting.
  • Your sessions are all about you.  Every Personal Training program is different – one size does not fit all!  Depending on your goals, physical fitness level, interests, and your individual muscular imbalances, your trainer will design a custom-fit program perfect for you.  When you decide to work with a trainer, you can book an appointment at a time that is convenient for you.  You can train at our studio, at your own home or even outside.  You can train as often as you like with your trainer or as little as once every 4-8 weeks just to keep you on track and make a few changes to your program.  Perhaps you’d like to start a running program, go hiking or train to improve your golf game.  It’s your session and we want to accommodate your goals, your needs, and your interests.
  • We will hold you accountable to your goals.  If you don’t show up, we’ll be calling to find out why!  It’s exactly this type of accountability that most people need to help them stick to a program and get great results!  Because we don’t have 8000 members to manage, we can really take care of our clients.  We pride ourselves in our attention to details and the service and value we offer the people who have trusted their health and fitness to us.
  • Customer retention is a priority.  Synergee Fitness holds one of the industry’s lowest dropout rates.
  • Health and Fitness Educational seminars are hosted monthly.  We believe that Knowledge + Action = Results.  We will provide you with knowledge and inspire you to take action.  That’s why our clients experience such outstanding results.
  • Client appreciation days and get-togethers are scheduled regularly.
  • We attempt to focus on the small details right down to the amenities in the locker rooms, to the fruit in the lounge, to the inspiring quotes found throughout the facility.
  • We distribute quarterly client surveys to determine our strengths, weaknesses and needs from our clients.  Your feedback helps us to be our best.
  • A comprehensive Customer Service-training program is mandatory for all staff.
  • Customer success stories will be posted on bulletin boards and in company newsletters.

Synergee Staff

We realize that our business is only as good as our Fitness Professionals, Customer Service Reps and Administrative staff.  So we only recruit and hire the best.  We know that our clients want our fitness professionals to exhibit the same qualities as any provider of any professional service, say, a lawyer, accountant or physician – a high degree of knowledge in their field, demonstrated expertise, plus a personality that’s compatible with theirs.  And we know that our clients also want to ensure that our Customer Service Reps and Administrative Staff strive to take care of the administrative and operation details so they are never inconvenienced.  Here’s a list of the attributes we look for and that you can expect from our Synergee Team:

a. Educated

Fitness information is always changing and that’s why you need a company who values education and is committed to staying on the cutting edge.   At Synergee Fitness, we understand that the minute a Fitness Professional stops learning, they cease to be a teacher.  We have to keep learning so we will always be able to offer something new to our clients.  Our Customer Service Reps and Administrative Staff also attend regular continuing education programs to ensure they always operate at the highest level of professionalism.  All of our trainers and group fitness instructors are certified through a nationally recognized association, attend regular fitness conferences, workshops and meetings and subscribe to a number of fitness trade journals.  We also network with a variety of health professionals including physicians, nutritionists, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and chiropractors.  We will know the answers to your questions and if we don’t, we’ll know where to find them.

b. Exceptional Teaching Abilities

At Synergee we strive to teach you something new every single session.  You may learn a new fitness fact, a new exercise or how to use a new piece of exercise equipment.  You will be provided with articles and be invited to seminars.  We believe that Knowledge + Action = Results and we’ll provide you with both.  One thing for sure – there is no stopping to the extent of information you will receive from our fitness professionals.

c. Desire to Help and Contribute

We only hire fitness professionals, customer service reps and administrative staff who truly want to see people succeed.  Our staff get a great deal of personal satisfaction from knowing that they’ve played a role in helping our clients make positive changes to their lives.  Our staff really cares.  Expect our staff to show up for sessions on time and prepared, expect to get regular motivational phone calls, and expect your trainers to put a lot of effort into designing your personalized fitness program…we strive to exceed our customers’ expectations.

d. Strong Communication Skills

God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason.  To be a good communicator, you have got to be a good listener.  Our staff have been taught to listen to our clients so you can guarantee that your needs will be heard.

Our staff will only act in your best interest.  We are not here to just sell you a service or product – we want to service your needs.  It’s as important to us as it is to you that you get the results you want.  Any recommendations we make will be based on scientific research taking into account your interests, needs and goals.

f. Respectful

We understand the magnitude of the relationship we have with our clients.  You can be assured that any information you confide to your trainer, group fitness instructor or a customer service rep will remain confidential.

g. Ability to Motivate

The sad fact is seven out of 10 people who start an exercise or nutrition program drop out within a few months.  If you have been among these dropout statistics, the problem may not be with you– it may be with the method.  Most people attempt to do too much too quickly without any planning and they have no idea how to monitor their progress.  We’ve come to realize that with all clients, it’s not a matter of capacity or ability, it’s a matter of getting them so emotionally excited about their fitness goals that no matter what other responsibilities or obstacles surface, they stick to their program.  This is why our Personal Trainers undergo extensive training to learn how to develop the right types of systems and programs to help clients achieve success.  We follow a 4-step process that sets up a foundation that makes it easier for clients to consistently adhere to their fitness program.  We definitely know what it takes to help you get internally motivated.

h. Able to Progress

At Synergee, we know we can’t treat all clients the same.  You definitely will not get a generic fitness program from your Personal Trainer.  Your needs, interests, goals, fitness level and muscular imbalances will all be considered before a fitness program is designed. You will get an exercise program that is custom-designed and perfect for you!  And your trainer will also know how to advance your program so that as your body starts to get more fit and strong, your trainer will implement changes to ensure you are always experiencing great results.  In addition, our Group Fitness Instructors are trained to offer modifications and progressions to ensure each client gets the appropriate workout based on their current fitness level.

i. Able to Inspire

Most people are inspired to do something by seeing someone else doing it and then thinking “Hey, if they can do it, so can I!”  So as Fitness Professionals and Customer Service Reps we definitely “walk our talk” and lead by example.  We love to get our clients involved in active adventures or events and often take them hiking, cycling and snowshoeing.  We strive to make exercise fun, enjoyable and interesting.

j. Projects a Positive, Upbeat, Energetic Attitude

We only hire Personal Trainers, Group Fitness Instructors and Customer Service Reps that people like to be around.  As a business, we definitely look for staff who are professional, educated, experienced and have good business skills, but we also recognize that these skills without a motivating personality will not cut it.  A good attitude is a prerequisite before we will hire anyone.

Of course, our clients need accountability.  That’s why they’ve hired us – to help them stick to the program.  But there will be times when you just need us to understand your situation and you can be assured that we will never judge you and you can always count on our unconditional support.
